After launching the Cool1 Dual back in August, Chinese smartphone
vendors, Coolpad and LeEco, yesterday jointly announced a new
smartphone. Dubbed as the Cool Changer 1C, the smartphone costs just 899
Yuan (approx. Rs. 9,000) and will be on sale from December 5 in China.
As of now, there are no words from both the companies on the Indian
launch of the smartphone
Coming to the specs of the smartphone, both the LeEco and Coolpad
have previously produced some good smartphones, and they are available
at cheap rate. Having said that, the Cool Changer 1C is no exception
either.
Let's take a close look at what the smartphone has to offer.
5.5-inch FHD Display
The Cool Changer 1C comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with a pixel
density of 441 PPI. In this price segment, offering a 1080p display is a
good thing.
Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 Processor
The smartphone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, which is
further accompanied by the Adreno 510 GPU for graphics performance.
Also, the phone has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can
be further expanded to 128GB via a microSD card.
13MP Rear Camera
The Cool Changer 1C comes with a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.0
aperture and PDAF technology. Also, there is an 8MP front-facing snapper
with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.
USP-Battery
Smartphone brands these days are concentrating heavily on battery as
their USP. And, the Cool Changer 1C is no exception as well. It comes
with a 4060mAh battery, which can last more than one.
Boots LeEco’s EUI 5.8
This was the agreement between Coolpad and LeEco. The Coolpad
smartphones under LeEco will come with the latter's customised skin
called EUI on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. However, there are no
words regarding the Android Nougat update.
